Each student-athlete, upon arrival at Cecil College, must submit the following items to the College Registrar:
- An official high school transcript sealed and mailed or hand delivered.
- Any official college transcripts of any other college attended, sealed and mailed or hand delivered to the address below:
Office of the Registrar
One Seahawk Drive
North East, MD 21901
In addition, each athlete must have a physical examination, attend an athlete orientation meeting and sign all forms required by the college prior to participating in the first practice.
Finally, each athlete should be aware that they have four years of eligibility to play intercollegiate sports, and playing for Cecil counts as part of your eligibility.
Cecil College adheres to the academic guidelines established by the NJCAA. Each student-athlete must enroll and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester and achieve a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
It is the objective of the College that each student-athlete graduate from Cecil College with an Associate Degree (A.A.), and transfer into a four-year college or university program. Your advisors will be guiding you with that goal in mind; it is not our intent to keep you eligible just to play sports.
If you have any questions about your academic eligibility, please speak with the Academic Athletic Advisor.
