ESOL - English for Speakers of Other Languages

ESOL

Improve Your English Skills!

If you are a foreign born adult (16 years of age or older) who would like to improve your English communication skills, we can help you. You will have the opportunity to improve your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Basic classes are grant funded, multi-level classes which cover all aspects of English skills.

Advanced classes address specific skills and are designed for foreign students who assess at high intermediate or advanced level.

El/Civics classes cover civic preparation and U.S history and government, as well as the rights and responsibilities of citizenship and naturalization procedures.

For more information and/or to schedule a placement test, call Julie Simonson at 410-287-6060 ext. 614.
