Your future starts here. Earn your Maryland High School Diploma!

Enroll in classes to prepare for the five subject areas covered on the GED examination. GED classes are 10 week periods and are offered at various sites throughout the County.

Tuition is $80 for ten weeks; the Complete GED Preparation textbook should be purchased. For your convenience, it is available at the College bookstore or you can purchase it online at various bookstores if you prefer.

To be eligible for GED class, students must assess at GED level on the math and reading assessment or score 2180 or above on the Official GED Practice Test (OPT). There is a $15.00 fee for the OPT which is administered the first Friday of every month.

Free two day Orientation/Assessment classes are held several times a month at Elkton Station. Call Julie Simonson at 410-392-3366 to schedule.
