Registration

Spring registration for credit classes begins November 1st. You may view the credit course schedule online. For current students wishing to register for classes, use your assigned user name and password to access MyCecil and register through the Registration t​ab.

If you are a new student and wish to register at Cecil College, please follow the steps for applying. If you are returning to Cecil after 2 or more years, visit Admissions and Aid for your admissions steps.

Important Dates to Remember

Current students may add, drop, or withdraw from classes on MyCecil. Always check in with an Advisor when you are making course changes. Students may add courses during the first week of the 15-week fall and spring semesters. Students may add a course that is offered in an alternative learning format up to the first day of the class unless they have written permission of the instructor.

Transcript Requests (Students and Former Students)

Policy Statement
Students and former students may request academic transcripts or non-credit records from the Registrar’s Office. These requests may be made in writing or online and include the student’s ID or social security number and date of birth. Students may designate whether the transcript is prepared for pick-up, direct mail, fax, or electronic transmission.

No transcripts will be released if financial obligations to the College have not been met. Transcripts will not be issued to a third party without the written authorization of the student.

Institutional Procedures
Students and former credit or non-credit students may request transcript transmission in-person or via mail, fax, or electronic communications. The Registrar’s office will process requests within three to five business days and send the transcript based on the student’s preferred delivery mode (pick-up, electronic, fax, or direct mail). The following procedures should be followed to activate transmission.

  • Requests are made in writing or online and include the student’s ID or social security number and date of birth.
  • Requests are accepted by completing the “Request for Transcript” form available in the Registrar’s Office or online.
  • When the student completes the form they can designate a single or multiple delivery mode (pick-up, electronic, fax, or direct mail).
  • Upon verifying student identity and that financial obligations have been met, the request (s) is processed in no more than five business days or the student is contacted for additional verification information.
