Financial Responsibility
By registering for a class, you acknowledge responsibility
for payment charges generated by your registration. If you
fail to officially drop from classes on or before the specified
drop dates, you will be responsible for all charges associated
with your registration.
10 Ways to Pay
1. Cash
In person only at the North East Campus.
2. Personal Check
Make check payable to Cecil College, including the
date the check is written. A postdated check will not be accepted.
A Student ID number should also appear on the check.
Please note: If your check is returned from the bank, a $25
returned check fee will be added to your account.
3. Credit Cards
You may use credit cards in person or pay by phone. Have the
Student ID number ready when calling the Cashier's Office
at 410-287-1020.
4. Money Order
Make money order payable to Cecil College. A Student
ID number should also appear on the money order
5. Authorized Payment Plan (F.A.C.T.S.)
The payment plan is available for the Fall and Spring semesters
only.
The F.A.C.T.S plan is payable in 2, 3, or 4 month installments,
depending on your application date. Please refer to the
schedule of application deadlines below.
The total of your tuition and fees will be divided into
payments which will be automatically deducted monthly from
a checking or savings bank account. The processing fee for
this plan is $25.00, and will be deducted by F.A.C.T.S.
from your bank account upon receipt of your application.
All arrangements for this plan are handled through the Cashiers
Office and must be made the day on which you register. If
you do not submit this information on the day your register,
you will be responsible to pay the full balance of your
account. If you do not make full payment, you will be dropped
from your classes.

6. Employer Paid Tuition
Present the purchase order, tuition assistance voucher,
or letter of intent from your employer at the time of payment.
This documentation should include your name, social security
or student ID number, classes, amount to be paid, semester
of enrollment, billing address, and signature of person
authorizing payment. Without this documentation, payment
in full will be required to reserve your space in the class.
7. Financial Aid
Present your award letter issued by the Financial Aid Office
to the Cashier's Office at the time of payment. If the aid
received does not cover all of your tuition and fees, you
are responsible for the remaining balance to reserve your
space in the class.
8. Veterans Benefits
If you are a qualified disabled veteran, bring your payment
voucher for tuition, fees and supplies issued by your VA case
manager to the Cashier's Office at the time of registration.
Payment is required for all other veterans at the time of
registration.
9. Special Tuition Reduction or Scholarship Program
Scholarships or discounts on tuition are offered through
special programs MD National Guard members, persons retired
on disability, MD Foster Care recipients, senior citizens
and the College Bound Program for high school juniors and
seniors. Please contact the Cashier's Office for specific
information.
