[8]The Seahawks were the first NJCAA Division II team ever to start the season ranked #1 in the preseason poll, finish the season #1 in the final regular season poll and win the National Championship.

[9]The Seahawks earned the nations #1 ranking for the final five weeks of the NJCAA Division II Poll. They were nationally ranked #2 in the NJCAA Division II pre-season poll and they advanced to the twelve team National Tournament and finished in 5th Place while winning three out of four games.

They were nationally ranked #4 in the NJCAA Division II pre-season poll and they advanced to the twelve team National Tournament and finished in 5th Place while winning two out of three games. They finished with the best record in the nation at 34-2.
