Theater, music, dance and art are proudly brought to Cecil County by the Community Cultural Center of Cecil Community
College. The Cultural Center is the leading performing arts theater serving
the northeast region of Maryland,
conveniently located off exit 100 of I-95.
A comprehensive organization, the Center is accountable for a variety of missions within the theater facility including college, community, and public activities, as well as the Covered Bridge Theater (CBT) Company. The Cultural Center staff is responsible for assisting the College in presenting activities that require use of the theater and affords community organizations the opportunity to present their offerings in a quality rental facility.
Responsible for presenting a variety of theater, music, dance and art events, the Community Cultural Center Board guides the Center and assures adequate financing of performing arts events. The Community Cultural Center Board is an adjunct of the Cecil College Foundation, Inc. The annual First Nighter Concert is the primary fund raising tool of the Cultural Center. Additional financing for the Center is through theater ticket sales and rental fees as well as grants and advertisement sales.
