Public Speaking is the study of the principles and models of communication in conjunction with hands-on experience in the planning, structuring, and delivery of speeches. Students study and deliver several kinds of public address. The course also provides students with a model for constructive criticism to teach the students what contributes to effective public speaking. 3 credits
