The Minority Student Union (MSU) was established in 1990. The purpose of MSU is to create an opportunity through which students may participate in cultural, social and educational events in order to enhance their experiences at Cecil. Efforts are made to ensure that activities are student centered and educational in nature for everyone.
MSU has opened up the eyes of the campus and the community by offering Hispanic, Native American, African American and Asian heritage events, volunteer activities, and holiday celebrations. The group takes pride in hosting the annual Unity in the Community Festival. These special interest events are provided to promote a fulfilling and successful college experience for students.
