Cecil College is offering a free information session about training options for careers in the health care field. Cecil offers training programs for certified medicine aides, certified nursing assistants, dental assistants, medical assistants, medical coders/billers, medical receptionists, medical transcriptionists, and phlebotomists. Understanding Copyright and Avoiding Plagiarism: Understand the definition of copyright and learn to identify types of copyrighted works. Different examples of plagiarism will be given and strategies for how to avoid plagiarism will be discussed.

In observance of Constitution Day 2009, the College is planning a bus trip to the National Museum of Crime & Punishment, in Washington, DC. The bus will leave the North East Campus at 8 a.m. Arrival at the museum is planned for 10 a.m. The price is $20 and includes transportation, admission to the museum, and entry to one of three (one hour) CSI workshops. After touring the museum, participants can tour DC on their own until 5 p.m. The bus will leave DC at 5 p.m. to arrive back on campus by 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in the Library.
