This degree is designed primarily as a transfer degree which provides the first two years of college preparation for students preparing to become teachers. It is designed for students desiring to transfer to a four-year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree and to qualify for a teaching certificate. All students who enroll in the education programs should work closely with their advisors. Changes in the program requirements at four-year institutions affect the transferability of the degree.
