Dental Hygiene

University of Maryland, School of Dentistry in Baltimore, and Cecil College, offer a two-phase program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree. Small classes, modern clinical facilities, caring faculty members, and innovative curriculum, utilizing on-line educational experiences- all characterize the dental hygiene program. Dental hygiene and dental students provide care, as a team, to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed dentists and dental hygienists. For those students who do not live near Baltimore, distance satellite programs, which include online classes and live clinical instructional specific sites close to the area are offered. Outstanding clinical and community service opportunities are highlights of the program, in addition to a progressive didactic curriculum.

What is distinctive?
