Whether you are looking for a class to expand your learning or just for fun, we have what you are looking for.
The Arts
All art classes are designed for both beginners and advanced.
Visual Arts include classes such as painting, ceramics and sculpting, drawing, graphic design, mixed media, portfolio production, and photography.
Performing Arts include music (piano and individualized lesson on all instruments).
Healthy Living
We offer a variety of holistic and wellness classes. Join us to expand your learning or just have fun. Beginners to advanced are welcome!
Fitness classes include hatha yoga, SHiNE dance fitness, Pilates fusion, 30-minute circuit, cardio stretch, body movement, Total Barre™, plus Tai Chi and Qigong.
Dance classes include beginner ballet, beginner tap, dance sport, Latin SharQui, and social dance.
Hobbies
Creative Craft workshops include Floral and Nature décor and designs for holidays and seasons.
Glass/Jewelry Design classes include basic jewelry, glass fusing, crochet wire beaded jewelry, and stained glass studio.
Quilting and Sewing classes include beginner sewing and machine quilting; sewing machines are provided.
Humanities
History classes include local history (including adjacent counties and states), tours of local sites and establishments, historical markers, American history, foreign history, religion, and genealogy classes.
Language classes include French, German, Russian, Spanish, American Sign Language, and foreign culture courses.
Science & Technology
Computer classes include introduction to the personal computer, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Individualized Classes
If you're interested in learning something new, expanding your knowledge, developing new art skills or techniques, or taking one of our classes but can't fit it into your schedule, we have a new option for you! You can now enjoy these classes with an instructor at a time that suits you. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has always wanted to take a class but has been limited by time constraints.
Tuition Waivers
Credit Programs
Tuition and student development fees will be waived for Maryland residents 60 years and older who are enrolled in credit courses. Seniors will be charged consolidated, First Day® Complete, and course fees.
Non-Credit Programs
Seniors enrolled in co-listed courses (courses listed also as credit courses) or FTE-approved non-credit programs of study or courses are eligible for a tuition waiver; standard course fees will still apply.
Please note that not all non-credit classes qualify for the tuition waiver. We encourage you to explore our credit courses, co-listed non-credit courses, and FTE-approved non-credit programs of study classes (those co-listed with credit courses) to take full advantage of this benefit.
Courses with only a course fee are ineligible for discounts.

Proof of age and residency will be required at the time of registration.
