Why did you choose Cecil?

I chose Cecil for many reasons. One factor that is on everyone's minds when considering a college is how expensive it will be. No one wants to accumulate debt. Cecil is very affordable and even more so with financial aid. This made it a great choice for me. I also have two younger brothers that are so going to school. Living close to home makes it easier to spend time with them.

In my experience, the classes are fairly small which allows for more one-on-one time with the professors. All of the professors really want their students to succeed; so never be afraid to ask questions! I have just started in the Nursing Program and the faculty have been extremely helpful. Even though the class sizes in Nursing are much bigger than my previous classes, the instructors are quick to answer their emails and any questions I have.

How has Cecil College helped you realize your goals?

When I started at Cecil, I was undecided about a major. As I continued on, I was required to select a major for financial aid purposes. I wanted to try Nursing because I had heard that Cecil's Nursing Program was great. I was accepted and now that I'm in the program, I'm so glad I stuck with it. Even after just a month in the program, I realized I really do have a passion for caring for others in a medical setting.
