At Cecil College, the focus is on your success. That's why we offer a variety of resources to ensure you reach your goals—in your education and beyond.

Academic Support

Academic support is provided through free tutoring at our Math Lab, Writing Center, and Technology Resource Centers. In addition, the Technology Resource Centers offer access to computers with current software installed as well copiers which students can use for printing.

Testing Center

The Testing Center provides skills assessment testing for students entering Cecil College as well as various testing services to the general community.


The Cecil County Veterans Memorial Library is located on the North East Campus and serves both enrolled students at Cecil College and Cecil County residents.

Advising & Transfer

Advising and transfer services are provided to help you determine the best pathway to meet your educational, career, and personal goals. Advisors will provide you with information you need to select a program of study, connect you with various learning resources, as well as guide you through the process of transferring to four-year colleges and universities after you graduate from Cecil College.

Career Services

Our Career and Job Placement Services Center can assist you in gathering information about careers that fit your interests, searching for jobs, writing your resume, and preparing for job interviews. In addition, we work with local employers to offer students internship opportunities so that they can get professional learning experience in their field of study.

Disability and support services are provided at Cecil College in an effort to help integrate students with disabilities into all available college programs.

Veteran & Service Member Resources

Cecil College offers veteran resources and programs in an effort to ensure the educational success of our returning veterans, including their recruitment, successful transition to higher education, retention and eventual graduation.

Transcript Requests

The Registrar's Office accepts written or online requests for transcripts from both current and former students of Cecil College.

Coronavirus Update

Cecil College is actively monitoring the status of COVID-19 locally, regionally, and nationally. We are working with our local health department and county offices to stay up to date on the latest developments regarding the coronavirus. As of now, all classes and events on campus are taking place as scheduled.

The College is utilizing additional precautionary measures to maintain a healthful environment on all of our campuses. Our Facilities department has added additional cleaning protocols to their daily routine to help prevent the spread of germs, including the use of disinfectant wipes on high-traffic surfaces like door handles and light switches.

In addition, the College is routinely posting information regarding the prevention of germ transmission on all on-campus monitors, our student and employee newsletters, and our primary social media channels. We also have signage both on campus and on larger event promotions reminding the community that if someone isn’t feeling well or has recently traveled to any of the global, high-risk areas, the responsible thing to do is to stay home. The College continues to monitor updates from local, state and national public health officials and will update this message as necessary.
