Cecil College's Youth Basketball program will teach players the fundamentals necessary to become good basketball players. Bill Lewit, Men's Head Basketball Coach, will be the program director. Coach Lewit, along with his nationally ranked men's basketball team players, will be responsible for teaching and demonstrating basketball fundamentals.

Camp Features:
Indoor and outdoor courts, T-shirts, written evaluations analyzing skills, an athletic trainer on duty, entertaining videos during lunch, players grouped according to age and ability, extra individual instruction, prizes and awards, free before and after care between 8:00am and 4:30pm.

When/Ages:
Week 1: June 22-26, 2009, 9:00am - 3:00pm
For incoming 5th through 10th grade boys and girls.
Week 2: June 29-July 3, 2009, 9:00am - 3:00pm
For incoming 1st through 9th grade boys and girls.

What to Bring:
Desire to learn, basketball sneakers, athletic shorts and shirt. Padlock is optional. Bag lunch, or if preferred, Pizza Hut pan pizza and soda will be available for $5.00.

From the north: Take 1-95 South to Exit 100A toward North East. Go through the town of North East and make a left onto Irishtown Road. The high school will be on your right.
From the south: Take I-95 North to Exit 100. Bear right off exit toward North East. Go through the town of North East and make a left onto Irishtown Road. The high school will be on your right.

Cost:
$160.00 per player; $10.00 discount for each additional family member. For any 5th-9th grader who wants to attend both weeks, there will be a $10.00 discount for the second week. For organizational purposes, please pre-register.

Summer Baseball Clinic Registration Form

Camp Activities:
Hitting, pitching, fielding, and basic running. Both the mental and physical fundamental baseball techniques will be included. Competitive drills, games, competition and evaluation for each camp participant. Camp will be led by the Cecil College Baseball coaching staff and players.

July 13-17

For players ages 7-18 years old

What to Bring/Wear:
Bring bag lunch; water and coolers will be available at the field.
Wear baseball pants, t-shirt and bring glove and cleats (bats are optional).

The camp will focus on the mental game, 3-point shooting, free throw shooting, shooting off the catch, screens, dribble, fast break and more. Shooting contests and 5-on-5 full-court games will be played.

Camp Features:
Indoor and outdoor courts, T-shirts, written evaluations and video analysis of shooting skills, an athletic trainer on duty, descriptive shooting work-out, instructional videos, players grouped according to age and ability, extra individual instruction emphasizing perfect practice habits, prizes and awards.

When/Ages:
August 3-7, 2009, 9:00am - 1:00pm
For incoming 7th through 11th grade boys and girls

What to Bring:
Desire to learn, basketball sneakers, athletic shorts and shirt. Padlock is optional. Bag lunch, or if preferred, Pizza Hut pan pizza and soda will be available for $5.00.
