The 2019 First Friday for May will be held Friday, May 3, throughout downtown Elkton.

This year’s exhibit will feature drawings, paintings, designs, sculptures and ceramics selected by the art faculty and represents the range of work being created in the program. Proceeds from the pottery and gallery sales benefit art students.

Those in attendance will enjoy original works from artists who have studied in Cecil’s Art Program. Current and prospective students are encouraged to attend the opening reception and speak with alumni about their experiences in the arts.

Students within the art program organize and create the artwork for sale. The pieces can be purchased during the Opening Reception from 5 – 8 p.m. This exhibit runs through July 18 and is part of the First Friday Art-Loop in Elkton.
