Cecil College hosts workshops on new UAS/drone training

NORTH EAST, Md. – Are you interested in learning more about drones but don’t know where to start? If so, this workshop is for you.
Representatives of U.S. DroneCon will discuss the variety of opportunities in Drone/Unmanned Aerial Systems training. Training options include both hands-on, classroom-style classes and online options. A demonstration of the flight of an actual UAS vehicle will take place and representatives will be available for questions.
Learn more about drone flying, FAA regulations, certifications and local drone use. There will be drone demonstrations and a flying obstacle course. Check out vendors such as UAS Academy, Unallocated Space, Drone Skinz, and more.
Workshops will take place from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, in the Physical Education Complex on Cecil College’s North East Campus, One Seahawk Drive.
