Cecil College offers new Artificial Intelligence Certificate

NORTH EAST, Md: Cecil College is excited to announce the launch of a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Certificate Program beginning this fall semester, designed to prepare students for the growing demand for AI skills across a wide range of industries.

The AI Certificate curriculum includes six core courses: AIS 101 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, AIS 103 Machine Learning Basics, AIS 201 AI Applications in Business and Technology, CSC 109 Introduction to Programming, DSC 201 Data Science I, and MAT 127 Statistics. These courses provide comprehensive training in AI fundamentals, including programming, data science, and statistics, alongside focused instruction on machine learning techniques and AI applications in real-world business and technology settings.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to demonstrate foundational knowledge of machine learning, implement simple machine learning models, prepare and preprocess datasets, and navigate the ethical considerations associated with AI.
