The image shows the interior of the Milburn Stone Theatre with tiered seating. The seating is arranged in a semicircular formation, and the rows are elevated as they move away from the stage, allowing clear views for all attendees. The seats are upholstered in blue fabric with wooden armrests and are flanked by narrow aisles with metal railings. The walls are painted in a neutral tone, and overhead, there are round, recessed lights providing illumination. Along the back wall, there is a row of tall windows near the ceiling.

NORTH EAST, Md: The Milburn Stone Theatre announced the launch of its $300,000 “Take Your Seat” Campaign, an ambitious initiative designed to transform and modernize the theatre experience at the beloved community arts venue.

“The Cecil College Foundation is honored to lead this transformative campaign in partnership with the Milburn Stone Theatre, driving forward this vital upgrade and elevating the experience for every patron from the moment they step into the space,” said Karen Uricoli, Executive Director of the Cecil College Foundation & Alumni Development.

Donors may participate in seat dedication opportunities at $850 for one seat, $1,500 for two seats, and $2,500 for four seats, with aisle seats available for an additional $150 per seat. Donors contributing more than $250 will also be invited to a special one-night-only “Opening Night Concert,” dedication ceremony, and reception celebrating the newly renovated space in late Summer 2026, with the date to be announced. All gifts to the “Take Your Seat” campaign are fully tax-deductible, and no gift is too small.
