NORTH EAST, Md. – The Cecil College Foundation is proud to announce the creation of the “Stephanie A. Mills Scholarship” that will be available for the 2019 fall semester.

This scholarship is in recognition of Stephanie Mills, a lifelong resident of Cecil County. She attended Cecil County Public Schools and benefited from the specialized training of her teachers, nurses, and support staff throughout her time in the school system.

This scholarship benefits students pursuing an associate degree in an education or healthcare program at Cecil College. The preference is this scholarship will help students interested in teaching or caring for those with special needs.

Stephanie is an active member of the community and continues to build on the foundation of her Level V/Special Education experience. This scholarship aligns with Mills’ beliefs to encourage specialized training for those teaching and/or caring for special needs children and adults in the community.

This scholarship is open to students who reside in Cecil County, Kent County, or Harford County. To make additional donations to this scholarship, visit cecil.edu/donate or contact the Cecil College Foundation at 410-287-1146.
